How do you play Cards of the Dreaming Dragons?
- Each turn, a player is assigned the role of the 'dreaming dragon'.
- The dreaming dragon selects a single card from their hand. This becomes their 'dream'.
- They will provide a phrase which describes their dream.
- Then each other player selects a card from their hand which best matches the phrase given by the dreaming dragon.
- Once all players have selected a card, each player (except the 'dreaming dragon') will guess the 'dream' from all the cards.
How do you win Cards of the Dreaming Dragons?
- If all players correctly guess the 'dream', then every player (except the 'dreaming dragon') scores 2 points.
- If no player correctly guesses the 'dream', then every player (except the 'dreaming dragon') scores 2 points.
- If at least 1 player, but not all players, correctly guess the dream, then the 'dreaming dragon' and any player which correctly guessed scores 3 points.
- If a player guesses a card that is not the 'dream', then the player who put down that card scores 1 point.

"Cards of the Dreaming Dragons" is a weird party game where the developer couldn't work out how to create server lobbies or anything, so you have to give codes to three friends (and let's face it, part of the reason this was such a failure is because if you ask your friends to play godawfully bad games like this, you soon won't have any). What do you do in the game? It's very much a part game... the game itself doesn't do much, instead you need to be talking to your friends and you'll ask them what you're thinking, providing a clue card from the game, and see which of your friends can guess. Wow, that sounds even worse after typing it out. What an awful idea for a game. Anyway, because of this it barely even qualifies as a PC game. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash …1 found this helpful
I was forced to play this by a friend was it fun sure but that doesn’t mean I liked it I enjoyed playing with my friend and their friends so I do not recommend this game. I recommend you play a different game with your friends. And also the cards really don’t work well, if the prompt that’s made isn’t really described good your card could be useful or bad a lot of times you probably will have bad cards so it really depends on luck 3/10 Made me wish I was in a public bathroom instead You could also Find My Friends review on this game
After convincing a few of my friends to play this (and cussing out the many who didnt) I can say this game is legitimately fun. + The game legitimately has good, rules, playing out like a mix of Cards Against Humanity and skribbl. + The dragon customization is nice. = Yall should really mention you use AI art for the cards. I personally don't care that they use it, the game is free, and if anything since the game is about guessing the meaning behind cards, using AI to make cards look more generic may be a rare positive here as opposed to a negative. - it is extremely tough to convince people to play this. + the game is free, again it uses AI art, but the models are all real, and the guy spent 100$ to put this on here, i think the dev legitimately tried their best when putting this together, it is a solid game.
Before I played Cards of the Dreaming Dragons, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
