"Cat Swap Tiles" is a relaxing puzzle game. You play as a cute kitten! Find your way to your friend by swapping tiles and creating your path. Well crafted levels and cute graphics. Stress-free game, without a timer. More than 1 difficulty setting. I liked the accompanying peaceful music as it has a calming effect. Easy to play, with 44 hand-crafted levels in total. Beautiful and colorful thematic worlds. If you like puzzles or cats, then get your [strike]paws[/strike] hands on this title! Sure, it could use some improvements, like explaining why the level won't end unless you reverse enemy tiles, but it still will make you smile when you figure it out! Poorly designed, poorly thought out

I still suck at this type of game so chances are I won't get far, but I at least feel hopeful here because I can move nearly any tile anywhere I want to in any order, so this at least feels doable compared to "Luffy: Way Back Home" where I could only move one tile at a time according to a more restrictive system. :D

I have sincerely tried to give this game a chance, but I have not been enjoying it. For me, the difficulty curve is poorly designed, with the early levels being too easy and the later levels being too hard with no proper ramp up. It's also frustrating running into glitches constantly, such as when the "tips" at the bottom of a level X out seconds after appearing without any way for me to get it back. I have yet to figure out how the wooden blocked paths work because the cat will occasionally jump over them (maybe that's my fault, but with how little trust I have left in the game, I'm unsure). Overall, I didn't feel smart whenever I figured out a puzzle. I felt like I guessed my way into it, which isn't what I want in my puzzle games.

Short and simple swapping puzzle game. The puzzle game's mechanic is pretty simple. By switching tiles, you must create a passage for the cat. There is no time constraint, so you can take your time and move the pieces about as you choose. The only limitations are non-movable items such as trees and rocks, as well as various additional mechanics. The game takes you through four different environments. While the first two pairs each include 14 puzzles, the second pair has only a few. To keep things fresh, new mechanics are introduced every few stages. This occurs only in the first environment, as the other three simply repeat them by swapping graphics to fit the current environment. There are teleporters, bonus objectives in the form of buddies to acquire, and opponents to avoid. The three difficulty options impact the types of help rather than the puzzle's difficulty. If you want to get any satisfaction from solving a puzzle, you have to use the hard setting. Two easier choices are essentially cheat modes that provide the exact solution.
