Do you enjoy staring at your screen, waiting for a chicken to appear, only to miss it because it sprints by at light speed? Congratulations, you’ve found your game. All six achievements can be unlocked in under 30 minutes. I’d strongly recommend avoiding games by Hede. They churn out low-effort titles nonstop and sell them at inflated prices. Final Score: 0/10

The game wouldn’t start because both the .exe and a folder were named incorrectly. Truly outstanding craftsmanship. Fix the typos, and voilà – the game launches. Upon starting, I immediately unlocked every achievement without lifting a finger. Beautiful. Peak gaming. The gameplay itself? You literally try to shoot a chicken. As the trailer shows, this thing moves at Mach 3. Blink once and it’s over. Maybe this will finally improve my Counter‑Strike aim. Also, the store page claims: "The waiting time can be between a few minutes and several hours." Imagine waiting hours for the chicken to spawn… only to miss it because you blinked. Incredible. A masterpiece of emotional damage.

Catch the Chiken, developed and published by Hede, is a minimalist clicker-style experience that builds its entire identity around a single, almost absurdly simple premise: wait for a chicken to appear on the screen and click it before it disappears. There are no sprawling levels, no character progression systems, and no layered mechanics hidden beneath the surface. Instead, the game strips interactivity down to anticipation and reaction, presenting players with a deliberately sparse design that feels closer to a digital experiment than a traditional game. The core loop revolves around patience. A chicken will occasionally run across the screen at unpredictable intervals, sometimes appearing quickly, other times taking a significant amount of time before showing up again. When it does, players must react fast enough to click on it and “catch” it. That is the fundamental interaction. There is no movement system to master, no strategic positioning, and no narrative context explaining why the chicken is running. The simplicity is both its defining trait and its most divisive feature. Success depends entirely on attentiveness and timing rather than skill progression or tactical planni…
