Prepare for an adventure full of fantasy, magic, and a true love romance!

The story is an affirmation of heroic will and true love, against all dangers and limits.Caverns and Dryads shows you a world with danger and wonder, romance and heroism, and mythic creatures. It has its own lore and aesthetics. In this underground universe, dryads and the Magic Council play a central role. The shadow of the Chaotic Invasion marks their past, and menaces their future.Prepare to meet the Purple King of the Amethyst Throne, Aubeline the queen of the dryads, and many other unforgettable characters!SOME FEATURES:
- You can freely explore and move through the different locations in the game world.
- Live the main quests and accept jobs to get gold or just explore the world to get experience.
- Your actions will advance the story and the relationship between the warrioress and the wizard.
- They are heroes: they don't fall easily. The wizard can resurrect the warrioress, but at a cost that you can recover if you play wisely.
- Turn-based 2D action that's immersive and relaxing, yet thrilling during battles.
- Play in short sessions or for hours, immersing yourself in this fantasy universe.
- This is a 100% free game. You can buy the DLCs to get extra content, features and lore, but it's not mandatory. If you enjoy the game and want to support my work, you can buy a DLC —it helps me keep expanding this world.

Recommended for fans of casual dungeon crawls and visual novel style RPGs. Not much customization in this one yet but a responsive developer and a good atmosphere go a long way, besides it is free so any fun you have with it is already worthwhile. It would be good to see a little more progression and story/relationship as well as some rough edges ironed out. +Visuals, music +Variety of spell types/schools +Relationship system +Dungeon atmosphere +Very responsive developer +Free +No microtransactions -Over-reliance on AI art -No voice, text-heavy -No settings/options at all except volume -No tooltips or button labels -Restrictive map, can only go to adjacent areas -Can't return to town easily -Very slow progress on quests -No XP or level up, stat increase is very rare/random -Occasional softlocks/restart needed -Autosave only, unclear saving -Some items worse than starter gear -Low chance for events to actually be what they say -Many junk items, no way to easily use/sell -Resting recovers no health and only 10 mana -Lacking story -Potion icons actually just convert HP<->MP -Awkward map, can't zoom out, click/drag only -Can't set quick spells (5 clicks to cast normally) -Spell scho…4 found this helpful
What I love most about the game is the strategy. At first, I didn’t read the information about each enemy, and I would get defeated right away :D Now I take my time to think about which spell to cast. I love the music and how the game shifts from relaxed to intense during battles. I’ve gotten stuck in a city, and I hope I can get out.3 found this helpful
Caverns & Dryads is a great indie RPG with vibrant art, great audio, and high replay value. The story between Tamzyn and Sioul is deep and fascinating. I have played the earlier versions of the game on android and it's surprising how much improvement the Creator has brought to the game in such a short amount of time.
