Dungeons of Blood and Dream

I'd really love to reccomend this game, but i really can't do that in good mind, even tho i will admit this game art style, rings mechanics, spell casting and notebook are cool, here's the biggest problem, the game is janky, like "Enemy is going towards you, goes over spikes and flies into orbit for a moment" kind, not to mention spell casting is kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, do to it costing health and some spells being mid to outright bad for you, even spells i spam which are "Summon gollem" (Stays for long, and better, then casting freeze early game" and "Cursed weapon" (Just if i need to nuke something fast), ah, and if you're hopping to just know how to cast what spell too bad for you, you need to find "Blood mirrors" and write the spell in a notebook. But the worst part about this game are enemies, they all are jittery and some of them outright ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (Forrest enemies, i'll complain about them latter). All melee enemies tactics are "Walk towards you", and unless you got a good room gen where you can outrun them and spam kicks or something, you better have a good weapon with good dmg and just spam thrust attacks, as they has more range, then slash, and range in this game is everything, as…

Artstyle is cool and game is challenging. But when the game stutters si heavily like your pc has a stroke, to the point you take damage not because of skill issue, because the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game stutters, you take pointless hits and even die. Not playable in this state, would be fun if it worked.

another sloppy game throwing 15m of essay reading at you from the beginning, memorize these 20 keybinds and systems, why add a proper diagetic ingame onboarding/tutorial when you can just make the player read. con: 60fps lock con: godot aka stutters every few seconds
