About Chesstle
Every match is a unique strategic experience.
Chesstle is an online multiplayer turn based tactical / strategy game where you battle your opponent in 1 vs 1 matches. You begin a match with with 8 soldiers, 2 archers, 2 riders, 2 mages, a champion and a king. Each piece has unique movements, attacks, and health points. Every turn has 2 phases, the movement and attack phase. During the movement phase move your character into the best position, then use any character with an available attack in range to deal damage to your opponent. Take your opponent's king out and you win, nice work. Don't savor that victory too long, your next challenge will likely be harder!

Choose your strategy, from an aggressive style that seeks to eliminate the enemy king quickly, to a more methodical approach that allows you to slowly wear down your opponent's defenses.
Having separate movement and attack phases allows for some interesting gameplay

features:
- 2 Phased Turns (move and Attack)
- Varied "Special" moves that pieces can deploy per match
- Upgradeable Pieces
- In depth Player Statistics
- Ranking System

What an interesting twist to chess, I went ahead & started to play thinking it's chess with characters. Soon to realize there is much more to it. After reading the guide I played again & really loved it. I love the special abilities each piece has (Mage/bishop can trade places with another; Archer/Rook can attack over pieces). Player gets two moves one to move & another to attack. The attacks cause damage & don't outright kill units. If you are a defensive chess player like I am with slow opening & building to endgame, well it's time to leave your inhibitions aside & get your Queen/Champion in to the arena & hammer away. When I tried to create a private game in the menu, it took few attempts. I'm not sure if it's a glitch or not. In short super fun to play!!4 found this helpful
Had this on my radar for a while and picked it up this sale along with a (pro chess player) friend and I wasn't disappointed. Took a match to get the hang of the mechanics (a quick tutorial or the guide being accessible in-game would've been nice) however it was hella fun beating on each others units and winning. I've never beaten my friend in chess before. 10/10 would beat professional chess players again3 found this helpful
