What a delightful addition to the farming simulation genre. I love the Eastern twist that adds a lot of fun features and really got intrigued about the story as it unfolded during your time in this peaceful village. What I like: * The visuals in this game are just stunning and I love all of the trees and flowers in this game. I love that you can also have a bunch of different plants in vases and my house is just totally full of different types. * Lots of fun mounts and companions that you can find and tame. They even have a rarer variation which makes it fun to search for in the caves. * The mini-games for crafting and cooking recipes is something different than other farming sims. You also have the option to turn it off. I really liked being able to find crafting recipes when defeating animals and mining * The festivals are beautiful (although the Dragonboat mini-game is totally rigged) * The NPCs are complex and I really liked learning more about all of them and their relationship with each other as well as their relationship with me. * You can turn off the ability to drop items when you're defeated or turn on invincibility if you don't want to engage in the combat system. The …

I’ve waited quite a while to write a review, because I wanted to give the developers time to address issues. I’ve had this game since it came out, and at no point was there a coherent way to play the game without feeling lost. The main storyline in the caves seems to have a completely random trigger and it isn’t explained at all. To all the people who suggest looking at guides and wiki pages; it simply doesn’t make sense that you need something like that to play a cozy farming game. If you are looking for something relaxing, don’t purchase this game. There is a lot of running around and not all of it will be fruitful. The developers themselves only respond to bug reports, on the discussions page and have no interest in listening or implementing any fixes related to guidance in the game. Time after time do they include these item updates that have plenty of cute things, but never address the issue of having to find out what to do or where to go by yourself. The only redeeming aspect it has is that the art style is precious. It’s a very pretty game with very pretty objects you can own. However, I don’t have any use for a pretty game to be lost in. It’s disappointing that these newer …

Here is my review so far at 66h in! Loves -The ability to shorten/lengthen days. I love a LONG day in game, so that was perfect for me -The overall aesthetic and 'feel' Its very easy to move about, and I like the combat! -THE BARTER SYSTEM. Its SO refreshing to have a new way to pay for things, and it causes you to get innovative! (You can also check items 'values' in the knowledge tab) -The events/character events! They're always very sweet and a wonderful surprise when I get to experience them -The minigames, and being able to turn them off if needed. That was fun, and i really enjoyed them! (except the tanagram puzzles but that's my own personal gripe) Likes -The characters are sweet, I have liked their stories so far, though I think a marriage patch in the future would be wonderful with the possibility to add kids. -The animals! Whether through cultivating livestock, fighting them in saves, or taming them.. I have enjoyed the whole process. And the bonuses they give are so much fun to mix and match depending on what I'm doing -The crops! I love that I can focus on flowers or veggies, or grow an orchard if I prefer -The recipes/brewing options. While I'm still trying to figure…

really nice game, gameplay wise its 9/10 for romanceables its abit lacking, it takes A LONG time to romance anyone and when u do the side stories it feels more like a therapy session rather than romance and the wedding was cute but the daily interactions are boring...... after marriage theres almost nth to do with them...

I found this game to be worth my time and money! I am a big fan of picxel game: Stardue Valley, Terraria, ect. Anyway, the bartering system in this game is pretty special in farming games. Below is something I not happy with: 1) For all romancible characters, unless you are married, they will confess to you at their 10 heart event. And I really hope we got a option to stay friends before that.... 2) Currently the main story is heavily based on your progress in mining, so if I am only focus on mining, I could have finished the main story when I had no heart with any NPC, but there's also conversation at the ending where NPC thank you for what you did for the villagers, and I was like, "Dude. what you talking about, I don't really know anyone...." Other than the above I am happy with all other aspect of the game and I am really happy to see dev are continuing making more update :)

If you like farming life sims like Stardew Valley and Fields of Mistria, I think you will like this game. The pixel art style is very detailed and well done. The world is full of things to collect and animals to watch. There is a lot to keep you busy: crops and flowers to grow, dishes to cook, and decorations to craft. It is interesting to learn a bit about Chinese mythology and traditional culture. If you're interested in the romance there are lots of cute NPCs to choose from. The daily dialog with the NPCs is varied and lively. You can chat with the village gossip each day and get a quest to help someone. You can help the town by contributing items to the donation box to increase your standing in the community and receive vouchers to trade for expensive items. You can gift individual NPCs to raise friendship or barter with them for goods. The combat in the mines is pretty straightforward, much like Stardew Valley, except that sometimes you get the chance to tame the wild animal attacking you -- which you can equip as a companion to give you buffs. I haven't done any of the boss fights yet, so I can't comment on that, but I just upgraded my weapon and armor so hopefully …
