Clock Rogue

such a simple concept which ends up being incredibly fun. it almost plays like a rhythm game and you can either count in your head or intuitively time it without counting, and both are very satisfying to pull off. the roguelike part is simple but ties it together nicely giving you the power scaling and choose-1-of-3 dopamine spike

I'm a gamedev myself, and that's the only review you need [h1]Short description[/h1][hr][/hr] Roguelike about time. You have a clock which you fill with symbols. Each symbol has a different effect (damage, heal, etc) On every turn you start the clock (real time timer). Tricky part that you don't see time. When you click again, the hand moves around the clock by the elapsed time and performs the action under it. So if you have a good sense of time, you can easily win. This game is a hidden gem. There are multiple different characters with unique game mechanics that don't stray too far from the core teachings of the game. Each enemy feels different from the previous ones without making the game too difficult for new players. I adore the art style and design of the characters. This is without mentioning the fact that there are many fun and creative actions to add to your wheel and the actual timing of clock strikes a perfect balance between easy to pick up and hard to master. This game is a steal for £4.29 and I highly encourage you to pick this game up if you have the spare time.

unique mechanic for a rougelike game

fun little game to pass time during work meetings. I realised my internal clock is absolutely garbage and have set out a 6 months training regiment to improve my counting skills. cant wait to try my skills at those restaurants that give you a free meal if you stop the clock blindly at 10 seconds, but i'd prob screw it up

A very fun roguelike based around whether you can accurately count seconds in your head. There are a few different characters to unlock and they each have their own playstyle for blocking/dealing damage and applying status effects. The fun comes from actually feeling like it's really skill-based. It's a surprisingly exciting roguelike given the simplicity. More of an appetizer than a main course, but the price is right! My only ask is to include the Space bar as the button timer! Right now it only works with mouse clicks.
