Cloney?

Cloney is a very simple endless runner where I control a little dragon flying through the air while trying to collect as many coins as possible without crashing into anything. The entire game is built around that one idea, so I can understand it almost immediately. I tap to keep the dragon in the air, adjust my movement around the obstacles and try to survive for as long as I can. It was originally created during a 24 hour game jam, and I think that background explains why the game feels so focused and uncomplicated. What I like about Cloney is how easy it is to just start playing. There is no long tutorial or complicated progression system getting in the way. I can launch it, start a run and immediately understand what I need to do. Collecting coins gives me something to aim for while staying alive becomes harder as the run continues. The worldwide leaderboard also gives the score a purpose because I can treat each attempt as a chance to beat my previous result. There are also seven Steam achievements, which gives me a few extra goals to work towards. The main problem is that there is not much variety once I have played for a while.
