Coin-Op Vice

Fun little weird game where your main enemy is the checkpoints system. Also you can't walk diagonally. Very entertaining regardless.

Really enjoying this game! With games within a game within a game... I like how it's used pseudo-retro game mechanics to create a meta retro game. There is a bit of a learning curve, and to be frank I still don't get some of what is happening, but I'm still enjoying the game. The graphics and music really add to the fun atmosphere of the game, and wanting to get more power-ups and wanting to find out more about what is really happening here is really keeping me invested in the game.

This game has worst controls ever. Action 52 bad. I can't believe how come the devs felt that it was ok to release a game in such an abysmal state. Walking in the top down section of the game is just painful. You can't switch direction on the whim or just simply walk diagonally. Every time you want to made corrections to your walking cycle you should stop. For example you can't just press up after going to the left. You'll feel like your controller buttons got stuck. You have to give a full second of break after pressing any button in the game.

An interesting game. Not exactly ground breaking, but for those of us of a certain age and/or proclivity, it certainly manages to tickle the retro vibes. I love the ZX Spectrum style graphics / blended with jaw dropping visual effects. The dev is master of ASCII aesthetics :) The game loop is simple enough. Wander around the stage, look for an arcade machine. Enter a mini game, which is usually a platformer, free runner or boss fight; with fiendish puzzles and precise timing traps. Collect cartridges (cards) - use these to empower the mullet sporting protagonist - stack carts to increase the power of each upgrade. Collect coins to buy credits, to play more arcade games - repeat. Exfil using the chopper once all games on a level are bested. Quirky garish fun. Very nice - 7.5 / 10 (music is retro-cool as well)

Very fun/ cool, beautiful. Its one dev, and 10USD is more then fair for the work he put in. The issue is, I (nearly) beat it, at a leisure pace, within this amount of time. the whole idea is quite novel and im excited for more! Dev CLEARLY has something special in his hands. Dev is also very responsive.

Очень стильная игра, как впрочем и другие творения разработчика. Приклоняюсь, снимаю шляпу! Помимо крутого ретро визуала, геймплей так же в духе игр из детства бумеров. Купил, играю и рад что есть такие игры и такие разработчики!
