when will command and control: spec ops remastered be released :(3 found this helpful
This is fun, if you ever wanted to fight from street to street and house to house with various weaponry, have a blast doing so. Infantry, Light Vehicles, Armored Vehicles, Air Support. Upgrades that follow you across the entire game, and the ability to go down both paths and not being locked only into one. I found it fun.1 found this helpful
good strategy game unlike any other1 found this helpful
I fully completed both NATO and Russian campaigns and I really enjoyed this game. I am coming from games like Men of War, Call To Arms, Syrian Warfare, Parabellum hold the line, and would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys or plays the games I listed. This game is unique and different compared to the other games I mentioned. It's not hardcore trial & error and savescuming like the other games, but at the same time it's not command and conquer style rts. Truly unique game. Would recommend getting it on sale, as I buy all games on sale.
its good but you can die very fast
A fun game to while away a few hours with, but not without its frustrations. Whilst the campaign starts off nicely, allowing you to deploy a good range of units in a tactical manner, it soon resorts to the usual meat-grinder technique of spamming overwhelming numbers of enemy bots at you. The enemy will literally spawn right beside your own units in the area you are capturing, killing any sense of immersion. This 'meat-grinder' style forces you to ditch most of your units and just stick to the most powerful and well armoured, which is a shame and makes mission seem more repetitive than they otherwise would. Infantry become useless as the campaign progresses because they die too quickly and eat up your resources. Helicopters are terribly inaccurate, and cruise missiles are too weak, so they too become redundant. The only infantry units I used later in the campaign were engineers with Javelins to take out enemy armour. You'll probably end up sticking with the primitive tactic of trying to overwhelm your enemy with numbers, not easy because they often arrive in huge swarms. Skirmish mode is actually a lot of fun, and you can deploy more varied tactics, making use of all units. (o…
