Confrontation feels like a game with decent ideas trapped inside a very rough execution. The tactical combat can occasionally be enjoyable, but repetitive encounters, awful pathfinding, and clunky controls quickly drag the experience down. The story and characters are forgettable, the missions feel overly linear, and the whole game has an unfinished low-budget feel to it. There’s some potential buried underneath the problems, but overall it ends up feeling more frustrating than rewarding.2 found this helpful

https://youtu.be/R8WrGi55f74 Stomping a squad of generic fantasy heroes through small groups of orc and orc like opponents won't offer a lot of surprises. Character progression is painfully slow to see any real growth.
I wanted to give it an honest chance, but it is just really mediocre. The gameplay is alright at best, but everything else is just bad.
