Crazy Alchemist

I did a video review of this game. I thought I would showcase some of the things that happened to me and what I think of this game. If you do not care to watch the whole video I list the pros and cons toward the end of the video. This game is an interesting Indie game that takes place in a faraway land. You an alchemist must mix different ingredients together in order to gain as much gold as you possibly can. I did like this game; however, my biggest offense for this game was the UI. I would recommend this game to a friend if they wanted a game they could play for a few hours. Would I say it is the greatest game of all time, no. Is it a game worth giving a try? I mean, it's... ok? There's just not a lot of content here, once you've crafted a couple of potions and visited the only 3 rooms available, you've pretty much seen all this has to offer within 15 minutes. Given it's been over 6 months with no progress or updates, this title is little more than a tech demo or abandonware and not likely to ever leave it's current early access state - and the days of being able to call these demos a full ''VR Game'' have been and gone.

Wow, good game, using VR equipment to play, the experience is very good, the operation is relatively rich, that is, the plot is somewhat simple, I hope to add some plot in the future, for independent developers praise.

For what's currently available, this alchemy game is already quite fun. I would recommend this game, but I think development has stopped. What's fun: - There's loads of different recipes. - Hundreds of items with fantastic low-poly models. - The alchemy lab itself is really detailed and pretty - albeit filled with very few things to interact with. - Creative crafting system which requires you to find the most cost effective way to create potions and items. - No bugs - Good physics, runs well What needs work: - The translation from Chinese to English needs proper attention, often the English translation doesn't fit properly within the UI. - The weekly updates market transaction seems pointless, I don't think the feature is actually implemented yet. And it's too cryptic as to what you're supposed to buy and then sell (which I don't think has a place yet). - The tavern needs a purpose, I only found myself going between the library and the alchemy lab in the first 3 hours. - Needs a story - There are too few rewards, only 2 are cosmetic. The dragon looks fun, however, the "ultimate prize" is to buy an overly-sexualised witch, I imagine it serves no purpose, and I can't see it being …

Crazy Alchemist (VR in this video) is a fun alchemist workshop management game. It has both a VR mode and a normal mode but the VR mode, which I played, is particularly great. You spawn in your workshop where there is a stout little orc walking around trying to occupy himself. If you walk up and tap him on the head he stops and scratches it which I thought was funny. The atmosphere is fantastic, there is even a mail owl bringing your mail. The game play is like a management game. You start with a small amount of money and begin buying alchemic components to craft items for quests which you are paid for. There are various traders who you can buy and sell from and an array of quests including story and daily quests. The quests are the creation of items for people and usually unlock new spells. There is also a person that you can use to upgrade your equipment if you complete their quests. I encountered three different locations including my alchemy workshop. The other two were a library where the official supplier resides and a tavern where shadier suppliers lurk. It is in early access so I did experience a few bugs.
