Alchemist Simulator

I feel like most of the negative reviews are as negative as what they are because, as is common, the expectations people put onto a game does not end up meeting the reality of what that game is offering. The gameplay is shown clearly, there's no deception about what it's supposed to be; a shorter, simpler crafting game that's there to suppliment a simple story. And, I think it does what it's trying to do well. Not every game has to be some over the top, huge production. Some are meant to be simple, uncomplicated, and easier or a bit more relaxing. That's what this game is, that's what it wanted to be, and I believe it, again, did that just fine. If you want more in depth gameplay or a more wild story, go play a game that is offering that. If you want a game that's smaller and not meant to be some extravagant adventure, then this one is worth a go.

I am struggling because I WANT to like this game. It is tough to figure out... which is cool... but the problem is there SEEMS to be no room for trial and error. My wife and I wanted to play together on screen share, and we couldn't figure out how to make certain potions... by the time we figured it out, we were out of money... So, the only thing we could do to make money (without having merchandise to sell) was by sleeping over and over and over again. I feel there should be an easier way to make money by producing some sort of cheap/simple product and selling it... THEN earning enough money to buy recipes. I play a LOT of simulators... and this is the only one that I had to sleep for 3 days in a row to get enough money to buy an ingredient for the SECOND quest... I am hoping that I am just doing something wrong... but neither my wife or myself could figure it out.. Lastly, I hate googling for help... but I googled, and the only thing I could find was tips for other alchemist games... Alchemist SHOP Simulator and Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator.... So I couldn't get help.

Need to put better instructions in how do make the potions annoying having to restart cause there ive ran out of money 🙄

Its ok.. their other game the alchemist potion monger is def way better. this seems like a precurser to that game and i really like the concept and art style its just not that fun to play. clunky tutorial and confusing how to make the potions. lots of potions,ingrediants and quests tho.

YES I LOVE THIS GAME

First I'll start with: this can be a fun, short little game to play for sure. It has a cute story and some fun gameplay mechanics. The only real problems I had were with how the mechanics were explained, and how difficult it can be to get certain combinations that you need to progress. It's a bit of a linear game truthfully, with not a lot of room to experiment and not a lot of variance for doing things, so I'd have to say wait for a sale for this one. I still think it's a fun game though despite that, so worth grabbing on sale.
