Cricket 22 - Academy Creation Tools is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. Instead of being a game, Cricket 22 - Academy Creation Tools is a software application that allows you to create a team for the game Cricket 22. This is not actually the game, this is not a game at all yet it has harmfully been published as a game on Steam by Nacon. Why would they do such a harmful thing? Because they want to advertise and prompt for sales of the main game, which is of poor quality, an insult to cricket fans everywhere, and also obsoleted by Cricket 24. The insults from Nacon keep on coming, don't they? For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to position. The flaws can cause issues depend on when they happen, but I love that this game has a body hair option for the character customization. The first body hair option does not have body hair, and the fourth and final body hair option is the hairiest option. In fact, the fourth body hair option is considerably hairier than the other two body hair options (numbers 2 and 3) combined. Additionally, I love that the largest beard option is a thick, bushy beard compared to the typical beard option. In Cricket 22: Academy Creation Tools, its largest beard is even larger and bushier than the Thick Full Beard from APB Reloaded, another game well-known for vast customization. In APB Reloaded, the Thick Full Beard is the largest single facial hair option, and it is noticeably smaller than the largest beard in Cricket 22: Academy Creation Tools. Although Cricket 22: Academy Creation Tools has its flaws, such as crashes and lags that can come up at the wrong time, I like Cricket 22: Academy Creation Tools. The customization has a lot going for it, especially for what is said to be a demo.1 found this helpful
