About Cronus' Tomb: First Quest

Thousands of crevices have suddenly appeared across Corfu, all leading deep underground.

Security forces across the island have been stretched thin as both locals and tourists clamber to find out why they are here; and where they may go.This is your opportunity to make a name for yourself! Equipped with 30 feet of rope and a blade, descend into Cronus' Tomb, and become the first to share the news.Cronus' Tomb: First Quest is a top-down action-adventure game that thrusts you into the forgotten corners of Greek mythology. Explore the tomb, uncover its secrets, and meet its conniving inhabitants; or what remains of them.

In Cronus' Tomb: First Quest, you can:

  • Get lost in a labyrinth of rotten chambers, all lovingly and carefully crafted to be as unique as possible.
  • Dodge, stab, and slash enemies with tight, responsive controls, as you push deeper into the tomb.
  • Piece together a story that takes place over fragmented vignettes of time.
  • Reach for that all important sense of purpose.
  • Maybe you'll get lucky and run into another explorer, or two?
  • Not realise that the game hasn't ended yet and quit early.
  • Be talked at by a cast of strange and pathetic characters.
  • Find unique items that aid you in exploring areas new and old; not too many of them though.
  • Explore and fight to an expansive and eclectic OST.
  • Rub your eyes and double-take at nice, if maybe a little underbaked, pixel art.

Cronus' Tomb is a small, weird, beautiful, brain teaser of a game. While things may seem pretty straight forward and linear at first glance, each playthrough allows for some really interesting secrets, sequence breaks, and speedrunning potential. I'd comfortably put it right alongside the greats of this genre like Anodyne, Minit, and Lenna's Inception.
