After a couple hours in the demo, I bought the game and in additional ~4 hours I managed to kill all the bosses currently available. A rot build gave me exploding spiders, homing mosquites and swarms of wasps erupting from poisoned enemies. Every room got filled with poison spores, poison fungi and enemies exploded into poisonous clouds. This killed every enemy and boss without issues while also killing my framerate. Had a good time, I enjoyed unlocking the various altars and shortcuts. I didn't enjoy being hit by enemies offscreen, not having i-frames while dodging, or being unable to see/react to attack telegraphs due to my own spell effects. I'm looking forward to being a plague doctor in the full release too. For a ~$10 game, it's great!

Amazing game in almost every way. The rune system is fun and has a lot of variety and can make for some really OP builds. The game leans more into that aspect than actually dodging and learning enemies moves because I found that it's way easier to just tank everything and get barrier or health back than to try and dodge everything.
