Dark Data

I like and recommend this game. If and only if you want a fun time split-screening on a television or playing solo against bots. The core game here is a really fun throwback. The problem is that the "campaign mode" has been under development for around six years. This will now be released as a separate product, called Dark Data: Zero. Hopefully. I'll still buy it when it is. The developer is really good at making games, and extremely kind in all correspondence. The developer is very very bad timelines, not falling off the map, and keeping promises. What was promised as an additional element of this game has to break off into a separate game, which is a different purchase and product. When pointed out that this is wrong, the dev has offered folks keys to the new one. It's not a terrible offer, but the description for this game STILL HAS that the campaign will be updated into this one. It's misleading. Buddy, you HAVE to do better at this stuff. If you fix the description, I'll flip my review to positive.

I legitimately like this game, but i was misled by the trailer severely. I was under the impression it was a single player FPS campaign, not a Multiplayer arena/Counterstrike-esque cyber punk ps1 title. I do like the original premise, and i like the graphics and models alot, however, it just doesnt hold up for me. i understand the developer is making a single player fps, (sequel/prequel?) so maybe id like that installment better. Once again i do not think this is a bad game, i like it alot, but im not a fan of multiplayer and was misled by the teaser.

A great couch multiplayer FPS drawing inspiration from GoldenEye and Perfect Dark. Dark Data isn't perfect, and it sadly seems like it won't get its intended campaign and additional content after all, but it's a fun experience alone or with friends. Bot support, character customization, a good variety of maps, and a catchy soundtrack give it plenty of replayability. The guns and characters all have a cyberpunk theme, particularly leaning on the ridiculous but endearing parts of 80s and 90s sci-fi movies. The bots have configurable difficulties and can give you a serious run for your money when played solo. I would recommend it if you want a fun multiplayer FPS with bot support, but if you're looking for a campaign or an online mode (aside from Parsec), I would skip it.

Abandonware

Game is great but sometimes when i start up a game by myself it loads in but just freezes on the character looking at me you cant even exit to the main menu you have to actually close the whole game in task manager but overall i love it

Fun short little simple game. Was introduced to it by a friend, wish there was still some support on the game but such is life. I recommend it for people just looking for a couch shooter or something to play with your partner late at night.
