About Deadly Rescue
Greetings, agent. We have a special mission for you. It’s a rescue mission. We know you are experienced in ordinary rescue missions, but this one is very different. You need to rescue your targets from the UNDEAD. The city is now overwhelmed by zombies, but luckily we found a signal of livings in the Wisdom Prison. The signal is weak, and we don’t know how many survivors are there, or how much longer they can survive. You must hurry, before it’s too late. And also be careful, we have lost many good soldiers fighting those zombies. Good luck.

Deadly Rescue is an immersive VR first person shooter which player plays as a special agent on a mission of rescuing survivors from a prison overwhelmed by zombies. Player needs to find survivors before time runs out. Clue of survivors’ locations is limited, player will have to search the area for survivors, though the crowd of zombies of cause. Supplies are also limited, player needs to look for ammo and use every bullet wisely.
Features:
-A variety of weapons, pistols, rifles, shotguns and more, kill zombies the way you like.
-Interacting with objects around you, use them to protect you or eliminate enemies.
-15 different areas for players to explore, different enemies and challenges awaits.
-Player can roam freely in the prison, but beware, you’ll need to make your choice of where to go, and you may run into something horrible.
-Realistic immersive gameplay only for HTC Vive.

I have to start with a positive: the concept is a good one. Rescuing people who trapped in a prison overrun by zombies is a cool idea. The problem with this game is the execution. From the start it doesn't even let you choose the language before you enter the game; luckily changing languages wasn't too difficult to figure out. Then the game took a long long time to load with nothing but a blank screen and at first I thought it had crashed. Once in the game it gives you no clear indication of how to reload the weapon. It was only once I got frustrated and flicked the gun upwards that I realised that method was in fact the way to reload. Things are pretty easy to figure out after that but the game just doesn't play very well. Many of the zombies are lying on the floor when you first encounter them and only awaken when you are standing right next to them. If you shoot them while they are lying down their death animation is triggered and they instantly stand up only to fall over. In addition, the zombie animation is pretty poor, but that is fairly standard for a lot of VR games. The bullets just dissapear into whatever your shooting at. I had no clue how to play this game at first. I couldn't reload or figure anything else out without trial in error. You'll see what I mean in the video. The default language is in Chinese and it wasn't initially clear how to change it because the menu was in Chinese! There are certain buildings that make movement very jittery and seem like the FPS dropped even though it hasn't. The initial load time is also long. There are just way too many issues with this game, it's not even early access.I am not going to say it's 100% the game developer's fault it froze because it COULD be my hdmi to displayport cable. I have just ordered a new mini displayport to displayport cord to figure out if it's on my end that i've had a few games freeze on me often recently.8 found this helpful
It is a very good game. You will have to get the wrench and bring it up to the circle above it to translate into English. To reload flick the gun up .
Fun VR game. I really liked Zombie survival simulator for its gun handling but this game is fun in it's own right. It's single player so far and it would be great to see a co-op mode available at some point for added fun. I've been enjoying it since purchase and I have over 80 VR games. The fact that I am playing this one today instead of another speaks for itself.
