About Epicenter VR
✦ AI summary
Lead a team of survivors through a zombie-infested island city using light as your primary defense while scavenging supplies and calling for rescue. Navigate the undead horde carefully—loud noises attract them, but bright lights keep them at bay, creating a tense stealth-survival experience optimized for VR.
In a post-apocalyptic island city, it's your mission to ensure the safety and rescue of the last few survivors. Just days before, there was a severe virus outbreak, resulting in most of the citizens becoming mindless zombies bent on devouring human flesh. Fortunately, these zombies are averse to bright lights! Utilize your flashlight to deter zombies and flock to street lamps and other bright light sources to stay safe from the hoard! Use your various weapons and tools to collect the necessary supplies, contact the National Guard, and escape from the island! But be cautious, as zombies are very curious and will investigate noises such as loud footsteps and gunshots.
Epicenter VR is based on a project spawned out of a flat-screen game of the same name. The original was fairly small in scope and was built in a month for a college course. After about a year I decided to port everything to VR! I believe in the future or VR gaming and want to see more developers create interesting experiences for the platform.
And here we are! I will bring future updates as needed, fixing bugs and adding new features. The game is mostly complete as I envisioned but as I see how players react to it, I'm sure I will have more to do! More QOL, weapons, etc are all on the table regarding future updates.

Cheap, poorly made and boring. I get that it's free, but try something else that's free if you've got time.2 found this helpful
Fire arms are useless, the blade one shot everything but only cut when movin or rotating the camera. So I end up walking toward the objective with my arm raised in front of me just to go from A to B then back to A.
Play If You Want To play a goofy ahh version of minecraft with guns
Must be the most unoptimized Unity game in existence. > About three polys on screen at any time > 6950 XT ready for emergency-power lift-off out of slot and case, exhaust glowing white-hot
just feels a little too early in development for my liking. If you wanna try it go ahead i mean its free so why not. Just personally didnt like it
