There is many things that makes this unfun to play from my time in the game. -Performance and bugs- The game will randomly crash when you start it if the steam overlay is open, having "OVR advanced settings" running breaks the game height so you're under the floor, and "fix floor height" doesn't work at all in this game for some reason. The audio breaks if you tab out and can only be fixed by restarting the game, from my experience The lack graphics settings is disappointing. There is no audio options, that's also an issue, since the game is very loud by default and you cant turn it down easily in VR since you have to turn down system audio -Gameplay- The lack of realism with the guns is kinda sad, the guns don't lock back when the last round is fired and having to rack them every time you insert a new mag, and for some reason it always ejects a round when racked even though the gun is empty? Melee weapons are basically useless, but for some reason they are WAY more common than ammo, even though ammo is plentiful. Huge immersion breaker is that when zombies grab you, it rendering the hand grabbed useless. you cant just yank your hand away either, your hand stays in place as if i…6 found this helpful
I wouldn't buy this game for over $10. It's got a interesting story, good story progression, I like the upgrade mechanics for weapons. But lost interest after about an hour because of graphics/gameplay mechanics. Things I'd like to see fixed: __Aiming seems off to other games, but the bullet counts seem realistic based on the gun type. __Movement with joystick, is available in moving while climbing but not here. For instance I am grabbing a pipe. I can grab and move up down side to side but I can rotate the body of the character. __Bugs with melee weapons, you swing and no sign of impact from enemy sometimes. Maybe a bit later. __Reloading feels a bit funky compared to other games. __Sound mechanics need work. Other then the standard zombie sound, you don't really know where they are or where they are coming from until they hit you from behind. If the sound had sources it would be better. I think if the DEVS can fix these items this game could be a good game. Thank you.4 found this helpful
Not a fan of this one, there are much better VR zombie games.3 found this helpful
While I recommend this game, I am a bit disappointed that the level design world interactivity is very low, which tbh in this kind of game, that experience is basically the "expected". Gunplay is satisfying, difficulty was OK and coop play is.. while rather simple, it works. The level design also acknowledge co-op gameplay, so it's a quite a plus. Fortunately, this game is not too pricey and occasionally goes into sale, so it's very good as VR collection.3 found this helpful
Death Horizon: Reloaded is a virtual reality first-person shooter developed and published by Horizon Lab LLP that leans hard into tactile immersion, claustrophobic tension, and the physicality that VR does best. Set inside a derelict sci-fi research station after a catastrophic outbreak, the game positions you as a lone survivor fighting through corridors filled with undead remnants of the facility’s former staff. Rather than focusing on elaborate lore or cinematic storytelling, Death Horizon: Reloaded builds its identity around moment-to-moment survival, using environmental pressure, limited resources, and close-quarters combat to keep players constantly alert. The campaign unfolds across the Horizon station’s industrial interiors, where narrow hallways, maintenance shafts, and laboratories create a sense of confinement that works particularly well in VR. Movement through the station often feels tense and deliberate, as enemies can emerge from blind corners or suddenly push through doorways, forcing players to react instinctively. The pacing alternates between quiet exploration and sudden spikes of violence, allowing brief moments of calm that heighten the impact of the next ambu…1 found this helpful
