This twin-stick shooter definitely nails the high-energy, dystopian game show vibe, but the actual gameplay loops get old fast. Dodging traps and blasting waves of mutants feels fast and frantic at first, but the bullet-sponge enemies and clunky targeting controls sap the fun out of later levels. It’s got a solid aesthetic and decent weapon variety, but the repetitive room layouts make it hard to recommend for long play sessions. Grab it on a deep sale if you just want a quick, mindless arcade fix.

I love this game. I played it on Switch (though the scene transitions was a little buggy.) So I bought it on PC to use on my Asus Rog Ally but randomly my controls would stop working on a run. I *could* just play it on a regular PC but that's not what I wanted it for, so I didn't keep it. But, it really is a fun friggin game. So... I do recommend it but I also don't just because I'm dumb and have technical issues.

It has the hype presentation going, but it's a weak game. Most of the time you'll have absolutely no idea what is going on. Almost everything is in the same muted yellow color scheme, and things just randomly appear. There is so much glitz and sparkles and streamers and hype that the actual game play is lost. I really tried to like it, gave it a full hour then refunded. This is an outright bad game that needs complete graphical and presentation overhaul.

Wow this game sucks. Where do I even start.......The game has this cheap flash game feel. Theres too much going on onscreen and everything is moving so quickly, you constantly lose track of things and will get damaged without even realizing it and it will feel cheap and never your fault. Its less of a roguelike as instead of tight combat you fight against waves of enemies spawning or rooms where they respawn endlessely, more like a survivor game. The UI is terrible and the tutorial tells you nothing, I got a key and unlocked something but was no idea what it was and was never able to find out. Combat is just holding down shoot and moving around. You unlock new guns to get in later rounds but they don't change you just holding down shoot so most of them feel the game. Other than that you unlock mid run bonuses but theres only like 6 and they never change so you've seen them all after 2 runs. The systems of the game make no sense either. Things are moving fast but you for some reason need to collect these stupid AI guys to run them to the end slowly to get a bonus. Its also never explained if likes contribute during a run or just to unlocks after. Theres no metagame progression bes…

Very difficult, but if your a fan of smash tv you'll love this. There are aids to make the game easier to play.
