Sunset Riders, but the Western has been replaced with gritty 1970s action. This is a fun game that's as entertaining for its references and low-brow humor as it is for its gameplay. It's a rather short game that needs to be played with more than one person to be fully appreciated. Unless you have up to three friends (and not more), I'd recommend getting this on sale.

A janky Sunset Riders homage. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the bike levels are terribly designed: you can be too close to an enemy and your bullets will go right through them and jumping on a bike has this atrocious delay and you're required to jump to hit some of the enemies. My patience with this game has finally ran out on the 6th level boss. Being required to bait a boss into whiffing a melee combo only to counter with your own close-range attack is not something that I want from a run'n gun. This might be an OK game to play in co-op, because a coordinated team should make the bike levels trivial. But playing solo? ♥♥♥♥ this.

Cant wait to show this to my buddies and do some couch coop. Dig the vibe completely. Hard AF arcade coin eater with lude humor and a killer 70s soundtrack.

A Gift for James Bond Fans. One of the playable characters is apparently, Roger Moore’s Bond with a golden gun. While the game itself doesn't feature many Bond elements, the gameplay is already quite fun, just do not expect a blockbuster experience. The movement is a little clunky, shooting is a bit  awkward since bullets only go at certain angles, fortunately, this game is fairly forgiving and gives plenty of lives. The funniest moments come from watching characters jump high to reach upper floors, or getting knocked around by motorbikes, plenty of small moments that can make you smile. At full price it feels expensive, however it frequently goes on sale, I bought it at 75% off. Great deal. I remember an arcade game I used to play in my teens back in the early '90's that was basically a Miami Vice/Lethal Weapon-themed Run N' Gun shooter where you could play as a scruffy white guy cop or a dapper black guy cop and shoot every criminal in the state. If you take that concept and wring it through an Austin Powers-style take on Dirty Harry, Charles Bronson, The Avengers (the '60's British spy show, not the MCU) and blaxploitation films, you get this game. It even has a Roger Moore-Bond parody playable character. And then, you take other famous characters from film to make them the level bosses, such as Arnold's Terminator or Jack Nicholson's character from The Shining. Anyway, solid Run N' Gun shooter and my only nitpicks are that it's pretty short since I beat it in roughly an hour, and that the characters walk at a snail's pace, but even that sort of emulates the clunky controls of the old school games to which it's playing homage so it's no big deal.
