[i]Bogged Down in Its Own Complexity.[/i] For what appears to be on the surface a simple twin stick shooter Kill Knight certainly has a lot of button commands and functions that the player has to juggle. Aside, from the learning curve it also makes it a lot more cumbersome to pickup and replay after any extended period away from the title. Some players might like this depth of gameplay complexity but I think it could have gotten away with a few less mechanics. From a technical standpoint the game functions perfectly fine, including good wireless controller support. One highlight is the scoring and arcade-like experience. If you are playing for score you'll be constantly finding ways to do a level better and trying to beat your best attempts. On top of that it has a functional leaderboard system. However, the game fails to explain how any of the advanced mechanics effect scoring what-so-ever so you'll have to look this up and figure it out through a lot of trial and error. Personally, the graphic style is not that appealing. I think its trying for this distorted computerized effect across the assets that just didn't land that well for me.
