I always enjoy trying out new games from indie studios. Indie developers often drive the industry forward by introducing fresh perspectives centered on creativity, simplicity, and unique gameplay loops frequently showing us exciting new concepts we never expected to enjoy. Destination Primus Vita had the potential to be one of those cool indie surprises, but unfortunately, it fails to fully land on its feet. While the core narrative isn't terrible, the writing leaves a lot to be desired. The character development feels thin, and dropping players straight into the story without proper setup or backstory makes the premise feel disjointed. On the technical side, the game suffers from noticeable issues with optimization, graphics, and clunky character mechanics. These bugs actively hinder the experience for anyone looking for a smooth, enjoyable playthrough to share with friends. To make matters worse, there is virtually no community around the game or available guides, which makes progression frustrating especially for achievement hunters. "Destination Primus Vita - Ep. 1" isn't a game at all, it's just an ad for [i]Destination Primus Vita[/i]. Talk about store pollution... Misleading marketing like this is an abuse of the Steam storefront and the "free" category. The product this is advertising, [i]Destination Primus Vita[/i] was supposed to be a pay-per-chapter episodic narrative driven first person puzzle adventure game, but it turned out to be a dogs breakfast of visual novel text, endless cutscenes and short, badly slapped together low poly first person adventuring segments. Then they gave up on the whole thing when nobody paid them money for their advertisment. But that's not really relevant, because "Destination Primus Vita - Ep. 1" isn't the full Destination Primus Vita game, it's just an advert for it! Incorrectly published adverts are harmful.. they take up visibility that should instead be afforded to ethical developers who do the right thing. And it makes it harder for us to find those ethically made games. This is an advertisement for a product that doesn't even exist yet.
