holy cliffhanger?? there better be a sequel... Idk what people are talking about this game being a problem or not making sense, there were like 3 things I struggled with? And even then once I figured them out they made sense that's just like.. how puzzle games work, all the actual puzzles are pretty straight forward figuring out what to do is just part of them. The only things I really had an issue with was some stuff is really slow and if you have to restart a section you have to recollect the items which wouldn't be a big deal other than the animations to pick them up taking a good few seconds. And some of the interactions are very specific about where you click or the interaction bubble will stick around after you're done with something or pop up before you interact with it, could be optimized a little better in that regard but other than that pretty awesome short little game.

I honestly LOVED the premise of Life of Delta, it reminds me of the Far Series a little bit with its graphical choices, the story reminded me a little bit of Abe's Odyssey/Exodus. It's got a lot going for it but you know what else it's got? Bugs. This is one of those games that requires pixel-perfect clicking under time-sensitive conditions and it caused more than a few game overs/deaths for me. Now it's not the end of the world to be caught out in games, if anything it inspires you to think outside of the box, but when it turns out you were right all alone but were 3 pixels off the correct point? That's where I draw the line and I stop wanting to play. I beat this just to have it beaten and hidden in the depths of my Steam Library.
Life of Delta is a sympathetic little point-and-click adventure that features relatable robots in an oppressive future, creative mini games and lots of errands to run.
The game's many humanized robots have distinct personalities, olfactory sensibilities, demonstrate empathy, wear glasses and clothes, get tired or bored, and all of them are too lazy to get anything done on their own. Enter Delta, a cutely naive character with an infinitely good heart. No dialogue VOs, only written text and personalised gibberish sounds, but engaging stories and situations. I immediately appreciated how Delta would only pick up items when it made sense early in the game and gave a logical direction to his actions. Unfortunately, later chapters drop a lot of items too conveniently right when you need them, as if the developers ran out of time to turn each acquisition into proper puzzles. Gameplay still provides a satisfying classic PNC adventure with modest ambitions and polished presentation. Life of Delta is a narrative-driven point-and-click adventure developed by Airo Games and published by Daedalic Entertainment that explores a world long after humanity’s disappearance. Rather than focusing on high-stakes action or survival mechanics, the game presents a quieter and more contemplative story centered on exploration, puzzle solving, and environmental storytelling. Its setting combines the desolation of a post-apocalyptic landscape with a surprising sense of charm and humor, resulting in an adventure that feels both melancholic and strangely uplifting. The story unfolds in a distant future where a catastrophic war has wiped out humankind, leaving behind a world populated by abandoned service robots and bizarre mutant creatures created by radiation. Players take control of Delta, a small maintenance robot who has spent his existence performing simple tasks in a ruined corner of the world. Delta’s peaceful routine is disrupted when his close companion Joe, another robot with a curious and inventive personality, is suddenly taken away by forces from a powerful city ruled by mutated lizard-like beings. With little understanding of the dangers ahead but a strong sense of l…
