About Diorama Tower Defense: Tiny Kingdom (Prologue)

Diorama Tower Defense: Tiny Kingdom (Prologue) is a cute tower defense game with currently three different dioramas (tiny rooms), as well as three difficulty levels.

Your task is to stop the enchanted fantasy creatures like elves, goblins, trolls, rainbow unicorns and so on from reaching the king of the little kingdom, King Arthur, because he is allergic to those cute creatures. Because the evil witch Samira has turned the creatures into sugar-sweet beings. Now strategically build towers on the playing fields to fend off the hordes.

You have the following towers at your disposal for defense: Archer Tower, Cannon Tower, Fire Tower, Ice Tower, Ballista and Poison Tower. You can also upgrade them further. By neutralizing enemies you can earn money to buy more towers or upgrade them as you wish. You also have the power to manipulate time, so you can rewind time but also make it move faster, thanks to Merlin.
Before I played Diorama Tower Defense: Tiny Kingdom (Prologue), I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
This thing needs a lot of work around the game-play and UX. None of the towers have any information anywhere explaining what they do, and after placing them they either just shoot a single projectile at a single target, or do nothing. Tool-tips on everything would go a long way. Also in my first attempt something broke, i could only place down the first tower it wouldn't let me place anymore despite having easily enough gold. Can't recommend this game in this state.

"Diorama Tower Defense: Tiny Kingdom (Prologue)" isn't a game, it's an advertisement for a different game called "Diorama Tower Defense: Tiny Kingdom", except that game doesn't exist. What exactly should I be telling gamers about an advertisement for a product that doesn't exist? Well, not to download it, for one. I can mention a couple more reasons not to touch this (and which explain why other gamers never touched it either). This features really godawful, lazy voxel/pixel "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating contemporary 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Minecraft succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This is only free in the same way that adverts on Youtube and banner ads in your browser are. This is a game demo that's been dumped on Steam to advertise another Steam store page in the hopes of raking in some cash (except in this case, that store page doesn't even exist). Just …

7/10 I love the idea of a cute TD game a lot! I think that this game has potential, but there are some serious bugs that need tending to. I'm stuck on the third level (graveyard) because a bug won't allow me to place towers. It seems to happen randomly, or maybe after dragging a tower out then changing my mind and dragging it back to the toolbar. I also noticed that some levels have indicator arrows to show where enemies spawn from, and yet some don't, meaning I have to start the wave first so I know where to place my towers. ((((I would gladly change my review after seeing these changes.)))) The graphics are adorable. I do wish the enemy path was color-coded somehow though, as the angle and decor make it harder to make out. If you could also make the color-coding for the tower placement indicators a little more contrasted (maybe filling them in translucent instead of just an outline?), it would look a lot less cluttered. TL;DR Can't wait to play again when it has had more work. I point out some bugs and make some design suggestions.
