It's an okay TD game. Pick it up when it goes on sale because that's the only time it's worth it.

The game is clearly a mobile port. The first few levels are really easy and the next are really hard. The game has six different towers to shoot enemies, but only three of them are useful (fire, cannon and ballista). It has in game currency, so you will have to grind a bit to purchase better power-ups. However, it was quiote fun once you get the strat down, and have decent upgrades equiped. The review is still negative because of the in-game currency forcing you to play levels over and over again, plus the rewards are too small imo, considering the difficulty level, and become even lower when you repeat levels. The shop prices are too high considering you have to have decent powerups already in the early game in order to progres.

Dropped knight on chess tile, goblin walked like tourist. Added wizard, got fireworks and power bill. King gave medal, I flipped it for three more towers.

King’s Guard TD, developed and published by FreezeNova, is a traditional tower-defense experience that embraces familiar genre foundations without attempting to reinvent them. Set in a classic medieval-fantasy kingdom under siege, the game invites players to defend their territory from waves of increasingly diverse enemies by strategically placing and upgrading towers. It opts for a straightforward structure rather than storytelling or cinematic framing, making the focus entirely on tactical placement, wave management, and incremental optimization. What emerges is a serviceable, approachable tower-defense game aimed at players who enjoy pure mechanics without narrative distractions. The gameplay revolves around six core tower types, each serving a distinct tactical purpose. Some specialize in rapid single-target damage, while others excel at splash attacks, slowing effects, or anti-air strikes. Enemy waves consist of a surprisingly wide array of units—from mundane foot soldiers to flying beasts and even dragons. Each enemy type tests different aspects of your setup, requiring either a balanced layout or on-the-fly adjustments during a run. Upgrades deepen the strategy slightly by …

Simple tower defence that works no 3 star system just make it through, lots of upgrade levels on towers although only a little visual difference, tough on some levels until you know what works best, but has a grind and horrible camera position/movement and some levels start to feel the same towards the end, straightforward achievements though, no magic needed! Some of my towers in some levels just stopped functioning until sold and built again, on the final level one of my towers positions was off screen, could still click and upgrade it. meh
