Dragon of Legends is an action role-playing game that fuses a retro inspired style and sensibility with modernized systems and designs in a fictional world inspired by some of the greatest works of Norse and Celtic literature.

I first played this game at a convention and spoke with the developers. They spoke about all the ambitious things to come for the game and really created interest. I purchased a key from them at the convention. They have not put out a single update since, nor had any communication about what is happening with the game. The website is gone, and for almost four years, there has been no communication. The developers have effectively made off with any money they made and left the game available for anyone to accidentally make an uninformed purchase. I see this echoed in the reviews already, but I wanted just to say this again as anyone purchasing it at this point will be losing money on a game that is the exact definition of what is wrong with early access. I backed this game on Kickstarter a hundred years ago. 2014 or something? Can't believe it's still in Early Access in 2022 and pretty much unplayable. Wish I'd never backed it. Abandonware. Please don't buy it.3 found this helpful
It has been abandoned for about three years now. No updates, no dev communication - including on Kickstarter Kickstarter (which I backed). The game as it exists now is merely the same alpha demo we Kickstarters received in late 2018 - so about three years ago as of the posting of this review. It's nearly unplayable. I don't see why an abandoned early access game is even allowed to continue to be sold on Steam.2 found this helpful
