Duloga is a deliberately provocative and unconventional indie experience that disguises itself as a simple retro-style shooter before revealing a far more unsettling core. Developed and published by Snack, the game borrows the visual language of classic arcade titles—pixel art, top-down perspective, fast input—but quickly subverts expectations by shifting the player’s role away from a traditional hero and into something far more morally ambiguous. Instead of defending against enemies, the player is placed in a position of authority, forced to make rapid judgments about who to target, turning the act of play into a reflection on power, control, and consequence. The gameplay structure is deceptively minimal. Across a series of nights, the player must observe incoming groups and make split-second decisions under increasing pressure. Mechanically, it is easy to understand: move, identify, act. However, the tension does not come from complexity or mechanical difficulty, but from the context in which these actions occur. It's a fun game. If you know the deep symbolism of the game, it can be really heavy.
