About Dumb Little Robots

Dumb Little Robots is a 2d puzzle game where you control robots that each have a single function. Help them work together to solve tricky levels. Meet new robots as you go and learn how they change the possibilities!

Start simply...
Get complex!
Levels play out on grids, and primarily feature pushing, rotating, destroying, and copying robots to solve.

If you find yourself stuck, DON'T PANIC. This game features a hint button! And then panic anyway, as you may find the assistance sometimes less than helpful.

Includes 51 levels, divided between 6 tutorial levels and 45 main levels. Levels are clustered into groups of 9 that can be completed in any order.

Smart little puzzler. Rules are extremely simple, yet the difficulty is good and tricky and increases towards the end. It's not the hardest puzzler out there, but it's no walkover. Very basic (and clean) interface, but it doesn't need anything else. Update: Has an editor now, although levels are currently only shared via cutting and pasting an encoded text block. I made some custom levels if you run out of official ones.

A sarcastic devilish puzzler that leaves me stumped on occasion Often, I will have to comeback to a level after failing to beat it only to have that "Eureka!" moment and kick myself for not thinking of the answer earlier. Thankfully, puzzles come in batches so that you are not stuck "spinning your wheels" too long. Great little game and at a two dollar price tag, you are getting more than you are paying for.

I like it, and I'm not even usually into sliding puzzles! It can work on Linux as long as you use the Proton compatibility layer (I picked Proton Experimental, and that worked great).

Full disclosure: I received the product for free since I tested the game extensively and still see the newer builds before they push. I would say it may make me a little biased but I will say I still think it's more than worth the price especially now with the stage builder. I'm aware it says 1.9 hours on record, I haven't played on the official release a lot. The game took me around 5 hours to complete if we don't count the time I spent thinking about some puzzles at work. I was going to make a list of pros and cons but I honestly don't have any major gripes that aren't bug related. So here's a list of just pros: -A good twist on classic shokuban -51 levels with 6 being tutorials. There are no on screen prompts or any annoying cut-scenes that walk you through it. -The difficulty really ramps up near the end which I don't usually get out of basic shokuban games -Some of the puzzles are so well made that when I replay them a month later I tend to forget the solution. They're not so confusing that you have to blindly try to solve it (which is hard to do anyway with the way this game works), and they aren't so easy I can just look at it and solve it immediately. They are probably so…
