About Idle Roboto
In Idle Roboto, run your cute robots in the levels you design to try and get as much scrap metal as possible!
Unlock more blocks with different purposes! New robots with different reactions to them!
As an incremental game with a build-your-own-level system, your goal will be to puzzle out the best, most efficient way to gain scrap metal over time.
You can also have fun and throw your little robots in a pit of destruction, but I don't want to know about it :)
Controls :
click : add tile
right-click on tile : deletes tile
right-click on a robot : deletes robot
Mouse wheel up : one block left
Mouse wheel down : one block right

This game is interesting, but it severely lacks in-game information. Different robots have different reactions on blocks, and it can get extremely confusing.6 found this helpful
Yeah, I can see why this one hasn't gotten any buzz during it's year long lifespan. It's not so much that it's complex, it's just ungodly slow going and annoying. The idea here is you want a maze-like structure with certain blocks that make your robots behave differently to traverse said maze. However you'll spend your first few hours just watching your robots bouncing along a straight line. I could not see any shop or upgrade system to speak of so I was mostly just earning 4 units of currency at a time. If there is a shop, the brief tutorial did absolutely nothing to highlight it and I certainly couldn't locate any on the interface (which is awful by the way, hot pink text is never a good move). I think some kind of upgrade to increase the scrap earnings would go a long way in actually making this fun (albeit shorter). The first "jump" block costs like 2,000 scrap and that takes a lot longer to get than you'd think. I had a line of eight blocks but the earnings were only 80 per minute, so the scaling here is just really bad. This one is a skip, mates.2 found this helpful
Game doesn't have a save function. Do not recommend to anyone wanting to close their game ever.2 found this helpful
Cute, but immediately grindy. Looks a bit shallow too, though it's hard to say, because the in-game tooltips don't give you much to work with. It rewards experimentation, therefore, which is nice. Aesthetics aside, it's a bit of an eyesore with the extremely high contrast. There's definitely the seed of a great game here, and I would check out a more mature sequel. I'm giving this a thumbs up because of that.1 found this helpful
The game plays by itself. 20/201 found this helpful
cute game and all but needs more intro/tutorial. ramp up starting pace to get some engagement. fix memory leaks cuz thats just negligent. shame on any dev that finalizes a game with leaks. would never purchase another game from this dev until this one is devoid of such behavior.
