Silly free desktop pet with physics and skins, but gets boring fast. 8.1/10

Dumbubu is a really stupid little game, but I mean that in the best way. It basically puts a tiny desktop pet on my screen and lets me throw it around, hit it and generally cause as much trouble as I want. There is not some big adventure or complicated story here. I get Dumbubu, a few ways to mess with it and a reason to keep earning points. It reminds me of those old little desktop toys that I could mess around with for a few minutes whenever I was bored. The physics are probably the most entertaining part for me. I can grab Dumbubu and throw it around the screen, and once I start unlocking weapons I can make things even more ridiculous. I like that the game does not take itself seriously at all. It is basically built around seeing how much chaos I can create with a little cartoon creature sitting on my desktop. There is something strangely satisfying about just messing around with the physics without needing to worry about winning a proper match or completing a long level. The idle side is where the game gets a bit more interesting. I can leave it running and earn Blind Boxes over time, which contain different skins.
