Extremely cute artstyle! The game's a bit short, but at the same time feels fine for the low price it has. Going for high scores and testing how well you can do with each bat will help give additional gameplay. They're all unique and have very different playstyles - Madara is my favorite by far, followed by Kaguya and Ohiki. It opens in Japanese by default, but it was easy enough to guess/find where the settings were to get it swapped to English. (Second menu once the game opens, then the setting beneath the resolution.) Not very easy to play with mouse and keyboard, but glad they're supported nonetheless. Definitely easier to play with controller.

They Pay Him In WOIMS I have played this game for 29 minutes and I was crying for 28 of them. I need to stop and drink something. This might be the best thing mankind has ever done. There is a pile of Honduran White Bats and they are brothers and you can see the bunghole of one of them at all times??? There is a button to beep at things and echolocate and you can pick up useful items like LUCKY SPROUT and GHOST BEAK. Dedication to realistically ludicrous behaviour is completely realistic. Bats were already the cutest little weirdos around and now I have fallen in a cave of cuddle pals and I cannot fly out

Echolocaution is such an interesting game. While it’s on the shorter side, it still offers a good amount of challenge thanks to its different characters and abilities, encouraging you to replay stages and aim for higher scores. Each character has a unique playstyle, which keeps the experience surprisingly diverse. What really made me enjoy the game is how clear it is that a lot of soul was poured into it. The sprites are very well made: fluid, expressive, and full of personality. Each bat has a cute and distinctive design, and there’s plenty of flavor text for the objects you collect. Even better, every bat has its own unique text for each item, which is an impressive level of attention to detail. The soundtrack is very enjoyable and fits each moment perfectly. I even bought the album as a way to say thanks for the wonderful music. Overall, the game is very lovely. It’s a great game to simply relax and enjoy a night flight while trying to beat your previous high score.

Awesome game, you can 100% it in 3-4 hours. Short game, long lasting memories.

This is a VERY simple but VERY cute score attack game where you play as cute bats and hunt for food while avoiding obstacles. That in of itself would be enough to sell the game, but the main gimmick of having to use your echolocation to see where collectibles and obstacles are is FANTASTIC and adds a whole new layer of depth to what would be a rather simple game. There's also lots to unlock so you have incentive to keep trying for better and better scores! Also, the bat mom is VERY pretty, so that's all you need
