Do not buy at this point, little feedback from Devs over all and none lately Game starts rarely without crashing , when it does it opens my Steam VR. game has potential but with no fixes or correspondence this game is dead in the water3 found this helpful
This game is not ready to be sold and should not be on Steam. I know the Dev has put time into it, but it's simply not ready. For me, I was able to "play" about 15 minutes the first time before the game froze. It then froze almost immediately after every subsequent relaunch, and that included after restarting Steam, as well as a full system reboot. For the 15 minutes that I was able to "play", I was not able to figure anything out when playing the game via mouse/keyboard. As a lefty I rebound a few keys to allow me to move the character with arrow keys, but I couldn't rebind the Interact key (E) in order to pick up objects. The Dev does not appear to be responding to anyone on the discussion forums, which makes me wonder if the game will see much real progress. It's certainly not currently worth the $14.99 being charged in the Steam store, and given it's current state I wouldn't pay anything for it. I've submitted a refund request. I do not recommend this game at this time.3 found this helpful
Game is practically unplayable as it is now, unable to pull out weapons to fight. The UI is horrible. The menus are not fully functional and will stay on the screen. The concept is great and I would love to play this game once it is fully functional but as it is now there just isn't any way to actually play the game.1 found this helpful
(I think this game broke my Valve Index??) Thought it's a nice (gravely unfinished, but potentially great) game, There are some weird things going on.. Everytime i launch the game, it forces steamVR to launch alongside. As the game crashed (1-30 minutes after boot) SteamVR gives the error of not finding the HMD or whatever. ( If the Index is powered it says: VRInitError_Init_HmdNotFound: "Hmd Not Found, if the Index is without power, just connected via USB it says 'no headset detected'.) Now after a week of trying to play this game (and factorio) i went back to my lovely VR games (wanted to give my superhot hightscores another go) And noticed that my bloody Right display is fried!?... Dark grey, powered but no visuals, not like the 'light' grey when not tracking. I've done nothing in between of trying to beat my record 2 weeks ago -> take a break from VR-> buy/try to play Edge of Darkness and play Factorio -> launch Superhot and Bam, NoRightDisplay#sadface. - Buy this game if you wanna support a solo dev. in the early stages of this game (at risk of breaking you PC/VR) - Wait some months / Don't buy if you want some 'no risk' survival play. - If you bought and can't figure ou…1 found this helpful
I wish this game was actually more than just a dump for easy cash or something. Unfortunately, it was released on Steam in a pretty unfinished state, which would be fine if it was clear that it would be and was ever touched by the dev to try to improve it. I was dumb enough to get it on release (I was hoping even if it was unfinished at the time, it would eventually get better) and it has not been updated a single time since 2020 (>4 years as of this review). I understand the dev was getting a lot of negativity when the game first released, but that's kind of what you have to expect when the game is as buggy/unfinished and you're not releasing it as an early access title. It had a lot of promise imo, but is one of many abandonware games. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.
