Ego Hearts

"Ego Hearts" is an extremely badly made "experience" (and when developers can't even bring themselves to call their product a "game", you know you're gonna have a bad time). What do you do in the game? You make paper planes and throw them in a really poorly done 2D retro minigame. Why? Something something (the developer couldn't work out how to use Google Translate properly so the writing is just gibberish) grief and mourning. As usual, if you're suffering from emotional trauma, there is help, but don't look for it in garbage video games made by armchair psychologists... when amateur game devs can't even get a real job as professional game developers, definitely don't confuse them for qualified mental health workers. In terms of visuals, this features really godawful MS-Paint/"babby's first Wacom tablet" tier "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. Игра Ego Hearts - это приятный сюрприз в жанре визуальных новелл. Сначала меня привлек яркий, стильный арт, и он полностью оправдал ожидания. Персонажи интересные, каждый со своим характером и мотивами, что не позволяет заскучать во время прохождения. Сюжет, хотя и кажется простым на первый взгляд, постепенно раскрывается, предлагая несколько неожиданных поворотов и заставляя сопереживать героям. Чувствуется, что разработчики с любовью подошли к созданию мира и взаимоотношений между персонажами. Геймплей стандартен для жанра, но диалоги хорошо прописаны, а выборы действительно влияют на развитие сюжета и концовки. Что особенно понравилось - это возможность принимать решения, основываясь на своих моральных принципах, а не просто пытаясь угадать "правильный" ответ. В целом, Ego Hearts - отличная визуальная новелла, которая порадует любителей жанра и может стать хорошим началом для тех, кто только знакомится с ним. Рекомендую к ознакомлению!

I remember this game was fun but I recommend it only for children. It wasn't boring but with that being said I do love watching paint dry. That's right , now that I've set the bar for you , don't try to limbo your way around it. It is just okay, not much to do in the game.
