About Memento Mori
A game made for the ones we lost on the way.
Experience a surreal, linear walking simulator that explores the themes of death and grieving the passing of a loved one. Waking up in a unknown forest, you find yourself lost and looking for answers, will you find what the clarification you have been looking for or will you find more questions then answers.
Dealing with grief and loss
A thing that everyone is forced to deal with for as long as humankind came into being is loss and grief. So we wanted to make a game that wasn't just special to us but that can also be special to people struggling with the same issues.
A show don't tell journey
Memento Mori is a show, don't tell experience that can be enjoyed by anyone and everyone no matter what language they speak due to the lack of dialogue and text.
WolfWare Studios
WolfWare Studios is a independent game development duo who started making Memento Mori during the second quarter of 2022. Before the production of Memento Mori both Shea Kelly (Creative lead) and Alekzandar Voynikov (Technical lead) made video games for game jams and to produce a medium they have both loved for as long as they can remember.

"Memento Mori" is no Dear Elise, although it's trying so hard to be and failing. This is a laughably poor walking sim, not to be confused with the popular mobile app of the same name, this is an entirely different disaster. This tries to be "more art than game", and fails hard at being either. It's just a linear "narrative experience" where you walk along and get thumped over the head by the developer trying to be pretentious. The game is quite short, and can be run through in just 10 minutes. The lack of content here makes it hard to suggest it's worth spending the time to add to your library and download. It says a lot when the best part about a product is there's not much of it. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. This game's really nice. But, i havent gotten to finish it! Theres some kind of bug i can't get around. As soon as i get in the elevator, i get booted into an abyss. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a hallway scene. the graphics also look different from the pictures, so I don't know if it's because I have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ computer or if theres an actual bug. But otherwise, i reccomend!1 found this helpful
