If the style alone would be enough, then this game would be amazing. But unfortunately the car physics are so off that I cant recommend it, the car becomes impossible to steer at high speeds and will slide if you try to take a turn, likely causing you to crash into the nearest wall or off the track entirely. And if you hit a wall prepare to see your car flying off as if it were made of paper. Its unfortunate cause the game does pull off the vaporwave style amazingly, but with those physics its just not worth it.2 found this helpful
While the art style is appealing and the starting levels are pretty fun, the overall rawness of this game ruins the experience the further you progress into it. The controller is barely supported and analog controls for smoother handling work the same as the keys do. On later levels, the gas pedal randomly stopped working as if I am in the Most Wanted intro level and refused to work until I quit and re-entered the race. The collision of the cars is unhinged and I got bumped into the air on a smooth road (don't pick the last car for East Berlin). The cutscenes are unskippable and play every time you enter a level (which you will a lot if you try to play this with a controller). Great potential, released raw. A shame.1 found this helpful
fun music, fun races, fun cars, fun maps. not too easy and not too difficult. perfect for the casual gamer looking to enjoy some fun races with some vaporwave soviet cars. there's nothing else quite like it. i was able to pick this up an extreme discount and i got it at a steal because this is a polished game. if the trailers intrigue you and the game looks fun to you, then you'll probably enjoy it. if you're looking for a serious racing sim - this ain't for you.1 found this helpful
This is a hard game to recommend, which is a real shame because this is a game with a vision. If the aesthetics of an eastern bloc synthwave racer are enough to carry the game for you, then it's worth playing. If not, then race-ending bugs, jank physics, inconsistent performance, and the cutthroat story mode necessary to unlock cities will test your patience. These are things that could be fixed. The game deserves a remaster.
Great to driving in near future concept
Terrible steering, poor variety of content, so much light flashing it gives you headache
