Emitters - Drone Invasions

After racking up 30 hours of gameplay, I decided it was time to leave a review for this game. When it comes to reviews, I do not do many, but when it is really justified, then I will, be they good, or bad. Emitters is a great concept with a great backstory. Skynet part 2, Blade Runner style (the gameplay mechanic is not exactly blade runner, but the soundtrack itself is heavily inspired by Vangelis, and the intro is spookily similar. Yes, it is true, Hytek94 is a big Bladerunner fan) Gameplay itself is a very faithful fps experience, a return to a genre much forgotten in my honest opinion. The arena shooter concept. Each map is one big, big arena, filled with tons of aggravated drones and androids. It is your mission to put a stop to the virus that has made these drones turn against the people they are supposed to be protecting. Emitters is the corporation you must save, and save it, you shall. It will not be easy on the first run though, as each level will become more harder, enemies develop smarter AI, etc. The FPS sections have a great learning curve. Had a blast playing this on stream. Dev was nice and helpful in chat during my times of stupidity, although I didn't need too much help because of how the game explained how to play very well. The gameplay was intense and fun, and had me on my toes for a majority of the time. The futuristic nature of the game was wonderful to experience and incredibly immersive. There are bits of lore around the map if you look close enough too, which I thought was a nice touch. ggwp ♥ tldr; good game fun times, immersive atmosphere

Played demo and it was very exciting action game BEFORE I bought full version. Game concept is so unique and fun, I did't feel bored. One of the coolest action game, satisfied with full version.

I had been watching this game for a bit and was glad to finally get a chance to play it, im in love with the indie fps/boomer shooter scene so it was right up my alley. A fast paced drone shooter with great dark sci-fi atompshere and a bussin electronic soundtrack. You go thru each arena trying to get batteries to charge up different chargers well trying to survive the endless wave of drones and Robots sent after you. As you progress in the game and level up you get even better weapons and mods and abilities And a Jetpack was added just recently as well! My only complaint is its on the shorter side content wise but Mickael is constantly working hard to add more content to it, (new weapon coming soon too) he is very open to listen to everyones ideas! also the last level is a great surprise and i wont say much more shhh... dont want to spoil yall but yeah check this game out and support this legend!
