About EMPORIUM

Emporium is a short interactive vignette. Exploring notions of escapism, loss and a fragmented sense of self in the wake of a personal tragedy.

These pockets of dissonant clarity are a vain effort to find beauty, poetry and reason in one's bleakest and most desperate moments.

Emporium is a small game lasting roughly 30 to 45 minutes. It has a minimal approach to game play, focusing on visuals and audio to build a visceral experience with sporadic dialogue choices leading the narrative.

An interesting waling simulator with dark graphics and nice art. There was potential for a bit more action, but it is a good value at its reasonable price point.

Played it a while ago and I think I liked it. Not for everyone.

Emporium is a short, abstract exploration game where you move through surreal, floating environments made of platforms, ramps, and impossible architecture. The gameplay is simple: you walk, jump, explore, and interact with small environmental elements to unlock paths forward. There’s no combat, no dialogue, and no clear instructions — you learn by observing the world and experimenting. What I really liked is how calm and contemplative it feels. Progress comes from curiosity rather than challenge, and the focus is clearly on atmosphere, movement, and discovery. It’s a quiet, minimalist experience that invites you to slow down and just explore. Thanks Tom Kitchen! :)

Aesthetically esoteric and perfectly lengthed for the story it tells.

It's short, but for under $3.00 CAD, it's worthwhile. The intro-theme reel for Severance reminded me about this game years later.

Couldn't relate, I had a good family.
