ENF Novels: Cold Night is a compact, choice-driven visual novel developed and published by ENF Novels that focuses on atmosphere, player agency, and the unsettling uncertainty of a single night gone wrong. Rather than attempting to tell a sprawling story with numerous locations and systems, the game narrows its scope to a brief but intense narrative experience where every decision carries weight. From the opening moments, it signals that its priority is tension and consequence, drawing players into a situation that feels deliberately uncomfortable and mysterious. The story centers on Pamela, who finds herself alone in a park at night after an ordinary outing takes an unexpected turn. The premise is simple, yet effective, using disorientation and isolation as narrative tools. Instead of explaining everything outright, the game allows details to emerge gradually through Pamela’s thoughts, encounters, and the choices the player makes on her behalf. This restrained storytelling approach helps maintain suspense, as players are encouraged to piece together what might have happened and how best to respond to the unfamiliar circumstances surrounding her. ROTFLMFAO. This is nothing more than someone throwing ♥♥♥♥ on a wall and seeing what sticks. Writing: A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke. Characters: A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke. I truly believe this skid-marked ♥♥♥♥ paste was just thrown together just to see if it would attract enough paying consumers before the bad reviews started piling up. If this AVN was FREE I'd warn you not to add it to your library. Nothing makes sense in this portable tank toilet of complete ♥♥♥♥. There were no creative thoughts flowing when this dump was taken. I can't tell you not to buy this, but I would strongly advise against it.

Cold Night definitely feels like quite a different game from Dress Code but... I'm not sure I'd call that a good thing. In many ways it's a qualitative improvement but the content mostly just leaves me.... cold. Pun intended. The main difference is ramping up from just ENF content (though still coercive) to just non-stop assault (with or without additional abuse) with one single encounter of the half-dozen (?) that isn't that (at least not obviously). Seems like the developers got badgered into it by reviews of CN though, so I guess... people like that? I just clicked as fast as I could through the complete set of paths until I could find the second path that led back to the one and only actually sexy sequence. There was also a glaringly missed opportunity in any of the Pamela Forgives her Friends type endings, TBH. You know exactly what I mean. And there's also that one encounter in the middle of another path that doesn't actually lead to a decision ... which could have ended in a similar way, but didn't (potential DLC that just never made it past planning?). So in the end I was still left wondering "are 'ENF Novels' still doing these but under a different…

Lots of fun paths to choose. First path was super short and I was concerned that that would be it. A super short game. But there is a lot of material hidden behind many pathways to choose. Though I'm confused as to why none of the paths seemed to have anything to do with the farmhouse with the party. Well worth the $0.79 price.
