Fun lil game, the game loop of trying to figure out what combination of attributes is needed gets a lil bit old though, mainly because it doesnt seem to make sense why these combined attributes are the specific ones needed at times. Also seemed to have some scripting errors where I would make a scroll, I would get a reply saying my scroll was correct, then later I would receive a letter talking about my past attempt being a failure. the scroll making/gameplay is fun, the visuals and controls are solid, story is lacking. Needs more puzzles to uncover which attributes to use for a spell rather than just blind guessing. also it was a lil annoying that when I made the correct spell but went overkill on it to make it better for the client they were unhappy (like making a water breathing spell work for longer than requested) like I understand that like game wise it probs is just like )checkfor:thisexactspell ifno:wrong or something but like in universe the client would be happy? anyways great game, even more so for being free, could use polish tho

love the game it is very fun. my only complaints are that i wish there was more to do like a endless mode and i also wish there was less use of ai

I absolutely loved this game! It was a very cozy game, and I loved the ability to neatly arrange the symbols together. Overall, a fantastic game, and I wish it were longer!

ENSCROLL is a really charming little game built around a simple idea that I ended up enjoying quite a bit. I play as a fresh magic academy graduate who has a huge student loan to pay off, so instead of getting a proper job I start making magical scrolls for customers. I receive requests, work out what kind of spell they need and then build the scroll myself. The whole thing has a cozy fantasy feel to it, but the debt gives the game a funny reason for why I am sitting around making magic for strangers all day. The actual scroll crafting is easily the best part for me. I start with a blank scroll and have to combine different elements and attributes to create the right spell. There are more than 30 combinations to discover, so I am not just following a fixed recipe book from the beginning. I have to experiment and remember what different combinations produce, then use that knowledge when another customer asks for something specific. I really like this because it makes every successful scroll feel like I actually figured something out rather than just clicked the correct option. The customer requests also give the crafting a nice purpose. I get letters from different characters aski…
