Hogwarts Legacy resonates strongly with Harry Potter and fantasy fans who love the immersive world-building, exploration, spellcasting, and creature-raising, with many praising the story and comfort fantasy appeal. However, some players find the lengthy tutorials and excessive dialogue break the pacing and feel more like a movie than a game, while others note that replayability is limited after experiencing all houses and express disappointment at the lack of DLC content and post-launch support.

I can't finish it (about 15 hours are AFK hour) The gameplay, missions, story are just so boring and repetitive. After the initial exploration of the castle it's a grind to get through.

100%ed the game! Overall rating for me is around 8.5/10. I had a blast playing this game, but it definitely came with some flaws. Summary: This game is awesome if you grew up with Harry Potter or are a fan of the franchise. I would not recommend this as a way to get into the franchise, there are a lot of references and things within the books/movies that are in the game, but not explained well or just not explained at all. If you are already a Harry Potter fan, it is genuinely such an immersive and great experience, you really do feel like you are in the wizarding world. I grew up with Harry Potter and I can very confidently say if you did as well, this is the game for you. Story (7/10): Overall, the main story is alright, it's easy to follow and has a decent amount of depth in terms of character development. The character development quests (these are fully fleshed out questlines you do with specific students) are in my opinion the real highlight of story writing, particularly Sebastian's.
