EvilTrap: Prologue is a standalone psychological-horror experience that introduces the world, tone, and terror behind the upcoming full game.This short chapter invites you into a sinister village that wants to keep you trapped forever. The environment shifts as you move, and the atmosphere tightens with every step. This prologue opens the door to an evil that you thought had ended... but it is just the beginning.WHAT TO EXPECT:

I cannot WAIT for this game to come out in full release! It had me on the edge on my seat and looking forward to the next installment! Such an amazing game for a one man crew to make!!! Okay. I don't like writing a negative review, especially for the free game, but this game fancies itself more as a prologue for a future full-scale installment. So I will treat is as a demo for the future game that should have more or less the same mechanics and design. And let me say, I will not play the full game, if the prologue is something to measure this full game with. So, let's go: 1. Non-existent optimization or settings. There are four "graphics" settings from low to epic. Anything lower than high, disables Lumen, plunging the game into total darkness. Everything higher than medium enables Lumen making stuff visible, but running at around 20 FPS on my machine. I know, Lumen is great, and maybe easy to use, but at least add brightness slider, for all the people who are not blessed with a double RTX 5090 setup. 2. Pathfinding is hell. Every interactable object is highlighted only when you stay really close to it and your reticle is right on the object. The objects themselves... well, if you want to open a door, you need to stay close to it and look DIRECTLY at the door handle. Not the door, just the handle. Considering the darkness level of this game (even with Lumen on).…
