About EXE.CUTOR
In the lower districts of a cyber city, a professional cleaner duo—the player and Hammy—receive an off-the-record request from the head of the data center.
A viral infection has begun to spread across the entire city. With no official response possible, they activate their custom-built execution system, EXE.CUTOR, to deal with the threat.Place data blocks to complete lines and eliminate corrupted AIs and their hosts one by one!Strategic combat built from data fragments
Place data blocks on an 8×8 grid and rotate 4×4 areas to complete lines. When a line is completed, equipment activates, triggering attacks, defenses, or various special effects. The fun of equipment choice and synergy
Each piece of equipment has its own tier and category, and combining them creates powerful synergies. Which equipment to prioritize and which category to build around is entirely up to the player. Sometimes, a well-matched combination can change the battle more than a single powerful item.
An execution system that grows through choice
Gain equipment and data blocks through battles and stage events. Through recovery, enhancement, and decision nodes, carve out your own path of growth.

EXE.CUTOR is a clever hybrid of puzzle solving, turn-based strategy, and roguelite-style progression that builds its identity around an unusual interpretation of line completion. Developed by A.S.K.S. and published by Jungle Game Lab, it places players in the lower districts of a cyber city threatened by a spreading viral infection. The player and Hammy work as a professional cleaning duo who receive an unofficial assignment from the head of a data center. With normal authorities unable to intervene, they activate the customized EXE.CUTOR system and begin eliminating corrupted artificial intelligences and their infected hosts. The story is primarily a framework for the gameplay, but its digital setting complements the mechanics effectively. The centerpiece is an 8×8 grid where data blocks must be positioned to create completed lines. On the surface, this resembles a traditional block puzzle, but the ability to rotate 4×4 sections of the board gives the system considerably more tactical depth. Rotations can rescue awkward placements, establish future combinations, or completely reorganize an area of the grid. Consequently, players must consider not only where a block fits immediate…
EXE.CUTOR is a surprisingly interesting little strategy game because it takes a block puzzle idea and turns it into a roguelike battle system. I am working on an 8 by 8 grid where I place data blocks and try to complete lines, but I can also rotate sections of the grid to change how everything fits together. Completing a line activates my equipment, which can attack enemies, protect me or trigger other effects. The cyberpunk setting and virus theme give the whole thing a nice reason for all the strange mechanics, and I like that it feels more like a strategy game than a normal puzzle game. The grid is definitely the part I enjoy most. I have to think ahead rather than just placing blocks wherever they fit, because completing a line at the right time can completely change how a turn plays out. Rotating a 4 by 4 section adds another layer because I can manipulate several pieces at once instead of only thinking about individual blocks. I like planning a setup that lets me clear multiple lines and get more value from my equipment. It gives the puzzle side of the game a nice balance between reacting to what I am given and preparing something useful for the next turn. The equipment sys…
