Pretty mediocre turn based strategy game with a boring campaign with a vague interface. Definitely not worth spending time on by anyone on steam where there's much much better games, even free ones, in this genre. Oh also you can't buy it anymore so there is that... and that is that.

3/10 made it to level 4 where you start with the coins to buy one guy and they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bum rush you, cant make it past the first 10 turns they try and sell you other games every time you open the game tiny box to make the advert not appear but checking it does nothing even when you close the game the advert box stays up

boring. repetitive music. well made. Worth less than 5, probably why i got it in a fanatical mystery bundle. Its a strategic game with only one path. What more is there to put in here?

Exorder is a Turn Based game with only 12 campaign levels and another 8 optional challenge levels. There are no difficulty settings and the AI always makes the same optimal moves to decimate your units. In every level, especially the challenges, you start the level EXTREMELY outmatched. Making mistakes means restarting the levels entirely or reloading a previous save. I found myself reloading probably a 100 times each step, to find that optimal move that makes the least sacrifices for my units. Good concept with some unique units, somewhat nice music and a simple campaign story. However, it will not go well with the average gamer because there is no strategy involved and steps are made by "trial and error".

It's quite a good tactical game for the price, and it's quite hard (which is OK, but not for everyone). The reason for not recommending is that some achievements don't trigger after fulfilling the requirements for them. The game is over 5 years old, all minor issues should be fixed by now, but spending few hours just to get few remaining achievements and not getting those is frustrating.
