Fairly new to this don't have 100hrs in this but here are my observations Really fun 4X / Turn based game. Only have the base game as of now but even with that the customization and different playstyles already amaze me. Game is very combat focused and on harder difficulties actually puts up a challenge. Lovely art, world & UX design too. Recommend. This is just a reminder that you don't need the DLC's initally to get started at all2 found this helpful

Okay... so... I've never played an Age of Wonders game before, I wanted something like Civ VI but make it fantasy. I'll be honest, at first I bought the game, played like 30 minutes and refunded it because it was REALLY overwhelming... but after getting it on sale and taking the time to sit down and play/learn for a few hours, I found myself really having a ton of fun! It's one of the more "intense" strategy games I've ever played but one of those that is easy to play, difficult to master... ANYWAYS, take your time, the game is worth it and I've been having a ridiculous amount of fun.1 found this helpful

It's an amazing sandbox for fantasy faction & character creation. Nothing else like it.
