About FALLING OUT

FALLING OUT is a charming, light-hearted and accessible 2D roguelite adventure.
Take control of two accidental adventurers, as you explore ancient kingdoms, discover treasures (be careful of the traps!) and bump into the equally lost shopkeeper, Azar. Collect items to craft weird weapons and useful objects that will help you traverse the world in this unplanned escapade.
It was supposed to be a relaxing vacation but ditch the itinerary because you’ll now need to choose your own path. Navigate through procedurally generated levels that offer the perfect balance of risk and reward. Help Giorgio and Felicie overcome their differences and work as a team in single-player or co-op. However you play, you’ll need to work together to conquer the unique obstacles and challenges scattered throughout each world.
Features
Solo, Coop or VS
Play as either Giorgio or Felicie in solo, co-op or vs mode. Easily switch between characters to use each of their unique characteristics.
Randomly Generated Levels!
Navigate your way through hordes of ghastly ancient creatures while exploring randomly generated temples, threats and exit locations. Every level is different and every challenge is unique but the feeling you get from mastering them is always just as satisfying.
Craft works
Decode blueprints, buy objects and collect scraps to build weapons and items that will help you overcome the unknown perils ahead.
2P VS mode
Create total chaos with bananas, frying pans, landmines, boomerangs and anything that comes to hand in order to steal your opponent's loot. Just remember to protect your partner at all times!

Local co-op is friendly fire galore and an AI partner serves only as an inefficient projectile to lug around, making solo the only viable option. Wordy intro with a Wario-like protagonist contradictory to his goofball appearance. Gave up after repeat losses to the poorly choreographed second boss fight, which going off achievements was further than 90% of players.7 found this helpful
my play time means nothing here Ive played with my friend alot over parsec ITS really Good its like Mario and Spelunky and Arcade games its just super Fun i really enjoyed it.1 found this helpful
A run-based game with randomly generated levels, that counts as both roguelike and roguelite as difficulty determines if meta progression is kept. I find to be a really clever way of appealing to people that prefer meta progression and to people that want a static difficulty throughout. (Note: it does not play like Rogue for those people who believe roguelike means a clone of Rogue.) It can be easily compared to Spelunky that's clearly a big inspiration, however, this has a more cartoony presentation and a heavy focus on co-op, though singleplayer mode is also available. Co-op is definitely the way to best enjoy the game. It is a shame about the lack of online play, but if the ping is low enough, then Parsec or Steam Remote Play works out just fine. Highly recommended!1 found this helpful
Basically Spelunky but with deeper systems such as crafting, storage, shops (outside of the levels) and some neat little co-op interactions. It's great fun if you like Spelunky. Another game I played with my nephew.1 found this helpful
This game lacks charm and challenge. I cannot find any reason to play this instead of Spelunky. I feel that 15 minutes was enough to see that this game is not worth any more of my time. I strongly recommend playing Spelunky, Celeste, Decline's Drops, Splasher, 20XX, 30XX, Super Time Force Ultra, Mosa Lina, or SteamWorld Dig 1 or 2 for a much more fun and memorable experience.
I played this game in local co-op with my wife. We've never been so angry and frustrated at a game before (and we've beaten Cuphead, which is quite difficult). Like another review says, the second boss is very tough even we did manage to kill it once. The third world features the most annoying enemy type which (i) sticks to you that can only be got rid off by falling with some height and (ii) constantly emit nosy sound effects. Imagine having three or four of them around you for some time and after quitting the game your head can still hear those noises.
