Fatal Blade

this is the most wonky and broken game i have ever played. the game may be in early access, but it is not an RPG and the combat experience is worse than just about any other sword based game you can buy. it does look pretty good, and its kinda souls-like, but the lack of actual options other than one button that actually works for attacking, no way to switch to the secondary weapons (nor is there any explanation whatsoever as to how the secondary weapons just magically appeared in my inventory after my second battle) and your ability to even swing the sword more than one way can only be done with a game controller, however you must use a mouse if you wish to be able to lock on to your opponent. this is obviously just someone trying to cash in on people who cant afford elden ring, yet they cant even solidify a core gameplay any deeper than rock/paper/scissors, except theres no rock and the paper can actually beat scissors because scissors cant figure out how to cut or even face the proper direction. do not buy this game.

I have played a lot of games on steam, I can easily say that this one the worst game I've come upon possibly ever. First off its $18 which is a complete and utter scam. 2nd off I took 45 minutes beating the beginning scenes because if you die you restart from the opening cut scene. Not only that but right off rip you go against 2 guys with double swords that are completely unfair, like I said if you die to them you completely restart again. Not only that but after beating all of those guys, you have to fight a mini boss, and guess what, if you die to that you restart all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over again. Finally after nearly an hour I beat this beginning part. This game has the wonkiest controls I've ever played, when you are fighting enemies it feels like they are 100 times stronger than you are. I couldn't past the first big boss fight all because there is little to no way of achieving victory. I could literally go on for probably 3 more paragraphs on why this game is so ♥♥♥♥, but instead, I'm just gonna say. In short, don't waste your money on this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ controlled game, please.

Game is unfinished after about 2 years in development. Went back and tried again recently and it's still unplayable. Don't spend your money on it unless it's greatly reduced. Don't know what the devs are thinking or if this is really a scam. Healing and inventory buttons dont work, the combat is unfinished and unpolished. If it gets better I'll post a new review but for now the game is unplayable.
