Fatimopolis is a package delivery simulation game with elements of mystery and psychological horror. The game is set in a small fictional town in Northeastern Brazil in the year 2005.
Just after the start of the new year in 2005, Lucas receives a call from his boss asking him to make a few deliveries in Fatimopolis, a mysterious small town located in the interior of the state of Bahia. Upon arriving in Fatimopolis, Lucas finds a ghost town; empty streets, open doors, and no signs of life. However, the feeling of being alone doesn’t last long, and soon Lucas must decide whether to risk his life to uncover what exactly happened in Fatimopolis, or flee and save his own skin.Game Features:

There should be a category for games like this called "PS1 Like". This game is awesome. It's really immersive and has a really cool story. First I thought it was just a boring package delivering sim but it is so much more. For $2.99 it's a easy recommend. If you are like me and love that PS1 era look then you're going to love this game. It feels like it would've done really well in the mid to late 90s. It has the gameplay to go along with it. I just heard about David Pateti and can't wait for more. I'd love to see bigger games with more detailed PS1 graphics in the future from this developer... he's got the talent. Another cool little horror game from David Pateti, the solo-dev creator behind the awesome Terminal 81 and Mortisomem. As the price point might suggest, Fatimopolis is a shorter, simpler game than either T81 or Mortisomem - but it still packs the spooky thrills that fans will know and love. Like Serra De Deus and T81, you play a nondescript protagonist working a mundane job - in this case, a delivery driver. Upon arriving at the titular town, you're surprised to find the streets deserted, and no manager around to greet you on your first day. As you drive around the streets, various odd sightings and discoveries start to build up the tension, before catapulting you off into the finale (or presumably not, if you decide to leave town beforehand!). I enjoyed wandering the eerily silent streets, accompanied only by the wail of the wind, occasional cries from dogs or cats, and - unnervingly - the distant rattle of gunfire. I've always been impressed by the atmospheric sound effects in Pateti's games; they draw you into these believable settings, elevating them above games of a similar price point.
